Welcome!
			The Richard Bard Chapter,
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized in Mesquite, Texas, on April 13, 1985, by organizing
regent Maxine Lytle Dodd. The chapter had 35 organizing members
including 27 Junior members and 29 new NSDAR members.

We are now 100+ members strong reaching out to local schools
with scholarships, ROTC, and DAR Good Citizens. The Richard Bard Chapter, NSDAR,
participates in many projects and programs that celebrate the three areas that
the NSDAR stands for:
	- historic preservation
- education

- patriotism
The Richard Bard
Chapter, NSDAR, meets August through May on the second Saturday of each
month, except September. We encourage our members to attend both the
Texas Daughters of the American Revolution (TXDAR) State Conference and the
TXDAR Fall Forum. For more
			information, please contact our
Chapter Regent. Our
Registrar can answer your questions about membership.
