William Brewer was born on the Isle of Wight, VA/SC, in 1758 to Elizabeth
and Burrell Brewer. Elizabeth and Burrell were married in 1755. Burrell
was born in 1730 and died in 1799. Elizabeth died in 1800. Lieutenant
William Brewer married Elizabeth Holmon in 1780. Their children include
Mattsen, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Clark Bates, Sarah Ann, and Mary S.
Walpole. William Brewer died in Ogelthorpe County, Georgia, in 1818.
